Anti-inflammatory diet: super successful
Hi. I've been on this forum for a while, hope this post may help someone who is curious about how diet can help with PMR. I've was diagnosed back in Nov 22, put on 15mg Pred. Now I'm down at 7mg. The last six months have been pretty brutal - several flare ups, mobility severely compromised at times,

Getting circumcised after 7 months of battling with constant Balanitis
I tried
Acupuncture
and Chinese Medicine. I’ve upped my supplements and added countless more, taken blood tests, urine samples, organic acid tests, hair samples and drained my savings in my attempt to find a reason why my body just can’t kick this thing.

Don't want to go back on the pill/more surgeries! Deep infiltrating endo on bowel and uterine polyp removed recently for heavy bleeding.
I thought I was doing all the right things, reading countless medical journals on endo treatments, taking numerous supplements and herbs (Inc tcm &
acupuncture
) to help with estrogen metabolism, curb my blood sugar, manage digestive issues, eat a strict diet...you name it , i have tried it!

Tai chi class
Then I took
acupuncture
sessions for several months. Again ultimately it was decided that I didn't need more sessions. Then I took classes for dealing with constipation. As a result, I bought a Squatty Potty--great tool!--and I still take Motegrity.

Letrozole/CTD agony. Yoga is better than massage says Med Research!
I tend to favour natural remedies, excellent diet, tons of Omega 3 and huge amounts of vitamins and greens, keep very hydrated and also do hatha yoga most evenings at home.. and have now also been throwing money at the pain with weekly professional massages with
acupuncture
... but I am also on codeine

sleep DEPRIVED
I have tried seeing the dr and we have tried zopiclone (barley made a dent),
acupuncture
(I feel like this was just an excuse for the dr to stab me with needles tbf), and due to the long NHS waiting lists and my crippling anxiety I decided to see a therapist out of my own pocket.

Get tapping everyone!!!
The technique is based on the principles of
acupuncture
and acupressure, and it is believed that tapping on these specific points on the body can help to clear energy blockages, reduce stress and anxiety, and promote feelings of well-being.

Feeling deflated after failed FET!! 😢
Feeling sad and just deflated, I did everything I possibly could, eating an amazing diet, stopped all alcohol, exercising,

8 embryos after almost losing hope
I’ve been debating whether to post but wanted to provide hope to those who have struggled to produce viable embryos. We’ve attempted IVF twice and weren’t able to reach blast, even resulting in tri-zygote. The third time, we had 15 mature eggs and 13 fertilised. All reached blast and we were able to

Does acupuncture work for floaters?
To follow on from my previous post on floaters, has anyone had any experience of the use of
acupuncture
to treat these? I’m seeing an acupuncturist for a back related condition (which is helping, by the way!) and he’s of the view that
acupuncture
can also help with floaters.

A Cure for Parkinson's Disease
I've just learned that an acupuncturist named Janice Hadlock's cured many Parkinson's patients. Unfortunately, her approach is only suitable for patients who've stayed away from anti-parkinsonian drugs or who haven't been on medication for over 3 weeks. She retired in 2020, but her ebooks are freely

Acupuncture for undiagnosed/silent reflux?
Hi Has anyone tried
acupuncture
for daily gastric symptoms? Sorry this is long message so no need to read it all unless want to! I was put on PPIs by cardiologist who thought my pressure in chest could reflux.
