Has anyone found success from thiamine for bladder ISSUES?
I have had bladder “ uringency “ for years. I have had good response from Accupuncture but it is slowly worsening. The diagnosis is a combination of BPH and neurogenic bladder. I’m curious if anyone has had success with managing these problems with thiamine supplements.

What would you do?
Hey guys hope you’re all well and good. I’m researching my latest and greatest problem and am interested in your opinions, knowledge or first hand experience would be fantastic. Besides my laundry list of respiratory issues I’m left hemiplegic from stroke in 90, due to this I’ve overused the right side

Waiting (not so) patiently.
I’ve been having
acupuncture
(and have the biggest girl crush on my acupuncturist who is one of the most interesting people I’ve ever met and she’s got a lovely Russian accent). I’ve started taking fish oil, Co Enzyme Q10 and Pregna-plan (which are RANK by the way).

Leg pain
Have completed 2 rounds of physiotherapy for the pain, also seeing a Osteopath just now and receiving
acupuncture
which does not seem to be working. Every time I go to the doctors, I get told that the pain is in my back and I explain to them that my back is not sore, the pain is in my legs.

Very sore breasts!
I’ve been getting
acupuncture
every 1-2 weeks for 9 weeks now and she suspects I have low progesterone (she called it estrogen dominance) so I think she’s doing things to try to increase progesterone and I’ve been doing seed rotation to help too. Could it just be increase in progesterone?

Question for nerds
I recently read an article in the NY Times about the science of placebo. (No, this is not an attempt to treat RLS with a placebo.) There is some very interesting research being done these days but my interest is not in the placebo effect, it is in an enzyme called COMT that has a role to play in the

New to this forum, but not HealthUnlocked, terrible neck pain/stiffness and headaches
I tried physio, chiropractic,
acupuncture
with no success. In fact it was the acupuncturist that suggested I have my thyroid tested.

Just When I Was Making Progress...
I had
acupuncture
today and I was just explaining how well I’ve been doing. Spoke too soon. I’m over this!

All this effort does pay off - my story - hope it helps !
I am looking into
acupuncture
as I still get stomach cramps which need over the counter painkillers - I'd like to stop those. Oh and sex is back to normal! I now feel more confident and in control of my endo, I can live with it not suffer from it xx Updated 2 and a bit years post lap - almost 3.

Acupuncture for MS
I have never tried
acupuncture
on the back, but I have heard it helps with back pain. Of course, if lesions are on the spine, I don't know how safe it is. I read on the Internet (obviously I am not an acupuncturist) that MS patients should not have
acupuncture
in head zones.

Pain, spine, nervous system
So I've had a lot of private 'alternative' therapy (good physio, osteo, medicinal massage, and
acupuncture
and mindfulness works for me for my nervous system and emotions). I've tried lots of different things.

Noooooo.....
Physio was excellent-
acupuncture
and gentle exercise regime. GP and physio have reassured me that I will run again, it’ll just take time but gutted.
