Cortisol and ACTH Test
I'm getting this done. Since I'm nocturnal my doc said to do it in the afternoon, but I wonder if I should either go back to earlier schedule or just get up early and do it then? I have some symptoms of adrenal fatigue such as weight loss, fatigue, diarhhea, nerves/jittery and all the other stuff. I

Starting 5 mg Prednisolone With 100 mcg Levothyroxine
After starting Prednisolone I felt my body very hot like levothyroxine suddenly started to work! Is there any explanation to this phenomena? I stopped Prednisolone because I felt also very weak on it. I will try it at another time after understanding little bit more about it. My doctor prescribe it

Cortisol Level in ACTH Stimulation
Hi everyone ... As mentioned many times before, I have dysfunctional pituitary gland with a TSH lower than 0.1 However, I suspect that there is also adrenal issues. Here is the results of the test: First Sample Cortisol(8AM): 199 nmol/l (normal Range: 123-626) Second Sample Cortisol(9AM after ACTH

Feeling like a YoYo
Been dealing with hashimotos going on 16 years. I call it the "Roller Coaster Ride From Hell"! I have been as high as 300 mcg Levthyroxin due to Antibodies being high. Hashimotos makes the TSH SWING Up&down. When your numbers are high its Hypo & when the numbers are low its Hyper! Example of hashimotos

Can anyone help interpret results of a Metypirone test?
My adrenal function has been sluggish with cortisol levels taking almost one year to return to the "normal" range, albeit the lower end of normal. My endo decided to further evaluate the HPA axis. Last week, I was given 3000 of Metypirone at midnight to block adrenal function. At 07:30 the following

Hello. My GP is unfortunately not working with me on my deteriorating health. I am bedbound and use a wheelchair due to many issues but I have felt really ill lately and a GP friend suggested I have a morning cortisol test done which came back low at 137nmol/L Although the lab said it was OK. Continue to fear for my life. These symptoms are horrible.
My new labs. Funny my endo called saying hey you've def got Hoshimotos. I've known that for over two years. He said to continue 30mg of Armour. I'm about to increase my dosage myself. What is a safe dosage to increase to? I'm the exception and have lost 20 pounds in the past 6 months. Here are my labs

Hello friends, I posted before about my adrenaline rushes during my sleep. I have a low tsh (suppressed <0.3) due to pituitary dysfunction. I took levothyroxine and it helped me a lot but still experiencing these rushes almost every night. Is it possible that my body experiences low cortisol during

Isolated Adrenocorticotropic Hormone or Thyrotropin Deficiency Following Mild Traumatic Brain Injury: Three Cases with Long-Term Follow-Up
Case three in this paper is of potential relevance to a number here. I am absolutely convinced that reduced pituitary function is far more common than is realised. In this case report the person seems to have been identified almost by luck. It makes a very obvious argument against relying on TSH only

Nutri Adrenal Extra (NAX)......Help with Arthritis
Hi, I have been taking NAX (recommended by Dr Peatfield)...My Cortisol and ACTH were both very low. I have been taking x 2 daily, but have become more anxious therefor, I am going to try a different product (without as much adrenaline in). However, Taking these tablets (x 2 per day) really did help

NO libido & other sympts / Full LAB results / thoughts?
Well, my libido/sexual drive has been decreasing slowly for the last 7-8 years (I'm a 34yo MALE) to a point where it's not there anymore - whatsoever!!! Also seen less ejaculation volume, no morning erections, less penis skin sensitivity and few/none sexual fantasies. Reduced effect of Cialis-Levitra-Viagra
