If anyone else has any to add please send to me by private message and will get added. Abbrieviations to define: ACTH - Adrenocorticotropic Hormone

Finally Endo is listening
I agreed to the Grand Experiment of reducing thyroxine dose to 128 mcg per day (I got her to write the script for 150 mcg tablets but skipped one per week to get to average of 128 mcg). This started mid August 2017. By October I was losing hair like crazy. I went from pony tail to rat tail and removed

ACTH numbers?
I would like to know what the collective levels of ACTH are . When I first started seeing my endocrinologist my numbers were 103,193,196. This when I started my daily hydrocortisone regimen . I take 20mg right when I rise and then 10mg @ 1. The lowest I was able to get my ACTH was 28 once. Now I am

I posted a few days ago for a bit of advice due to persistent low cortisol and being very symptomatic despite really good thyroid results and vitamin levels. I saw the endocrinologist at the Liverpool royal and I have to say she was fantastic! I was in there for about 45 minuets so apologies if you were

Does Toft look st adrenal issues as well as thyroid?
My daughter is really struggling and we are trying to get answers. Private blood tests show that she has a thyroid problem (according to the doctor who assessed them) which needs T 3. Saliva cortisol says adrenal but NHS didn’t tell her that oestrogen elevates cortisol & that testing should be fasting

In November last year I started feeling really unwell and getting fevers all the time. The fevers have now gone. I now get a stinging pain going through my back, abdomen
