Liver and spine mets just started Gemzar and my hormone blocker tamoxifen stopped working so began letrazole. Is anyone taking this combo?

I just began Gemzar and Letrosole. My neutrophils are 0.4. Is anyone familiar with this combination and have advice on getting my immune system stronger so I can get treatment? Thank you.

Yes, I have had that combo. Not to worry. They have lots of drugs to try on you and combos are the best. Just remember it's not a cure but they can keep you going for years. Meditate & keep a journal for this journey in case your kids or anyone else can read it that falls victim to cancer. It may help someone else . Hugs & prayers. I am going on 12 year survivorship . Hang in there.
