Thanks God bless you

Oh, gosh, Plasem,

I'm so sorry to read this! Have you tried the standard at home remedies like cranberry juice? While our immune systems are certainly compromised, I think that the "lots of water, cranberry juice, whatever else google tells us" remedies are more about creating an unfriendly environment for the bacteria...perhaps they'll tip the scales in your favor?

I can sympathize with you because a couple of weeks back I thought I might have a kidney infection and was pretty freaked out at that prospect, given the WBC. In my case it turned out to be fine -- not sure what was causing my pain -- i hope the same for you...

Most people who get infections on Ibrance (usually a UTI or UTI upper respiratory infection) can take care of it with oral antibiotics - it rarely lands people in the hospital. Your doc probably doesn't want you to take Ibrance while you are on antibiotics make sure the onc knows what's going on. You will be ok.

Thanks, I am taking my antibiotics and on Wednesday I have my oncologist appointment to see the bone biopsy and discuss my new treatment I only took Ibrance first with Letrozole then with Falsodex and now I would like to keep with chemo pills hopefully it will depends on the biopsy results, I hope I can take Versenio or Ribociclib or Afinitor I do not know the sequence in case my biopsy pathology remains the ER(+) HER2 (-) thank you again and God bless you

Thanks, I will

Hi Plasem,

I hope you get good results from your home biopsy and that the UTI quickly clears up. I've never had one, but my mum was prone to UTIs when she had cancer and it was painful. Drinking plenty of water will help. I hope you feel better soon.

Sophie ❤
