Got great news at .my oncologists 3 monthly visit. He only wants to see me every 6 months instead of every 3 and CT scan once a year instead of twice. No change in my tumor markers or other labs and all CT scans in last 5 years are unchanged . He says he realy feels like I am going to stay like this, but stated there will be so many new meds available in the future if I were to need them.. Thank You Lord.

Amen for sure! It is also good to hear that your doc stated that there will be more options in the future. I just wish they would find a drug to wipe this out. We are all happy for you.

Congratulations on getting such great news! I also have been blessed to only have to get scans every six months. Although it is unnerving to wait an extra bit to see if there is any progression it is always a time for celebration when there isn’t! Praying that you will have many times to celebrate! 🎉

I am so happy for your wonderful news!! So great that you are stable after 5 years and that now you only have to do scans once a year. I am doing them every 6 months as I have been stable too but would love to go to once a year. Hope you continue to do well.

I’m also Ibrance and letrozole for 6 1/2 years. PET scan last week showed the tumor in my breast has increased in size and a lymph node is affected (5mm) the rest of scan was clear, so ultrasound and biopsy to see what’s going on and possible surgery. I am still pretty happy with the results!!

Great news !!! You give me hope to be able to get to that point . I am on same drugs for 3.5 years and also stable . Still get scans every 3 month but I hope to go to 6 month soon . Fabulous news and a wonderful time of year to receive it as we all head into the holiday months. I'm Canadian and this coming weekend we celebrate our Thanksgiving so lots of yummy food to look forward to. Enjoy the extra freedom time between scans and I hope you stay stable for a long time. There is no cure for this disease but staying stable long-term is what we all strive for. It looks like you are still on your first line treatment of Ibrance which is fantastic. I took Ibrance and Femara for 5 years and then had progression and had to change treatment. Loved my time on Ibrance/Femara as I had no side effects. Take care and embrace your wonderful news.
