I have been reading many of the posts and can glan information from each of them. My story is so similar Dx in 2000, stage IIIa, Lobular BC bilateral mastectomy, 4 lumps nodes +, chemo AC/Taxol, radiation. Femara kept TM in normal range in 2014, TM started to sky rocket After many scans with no sight of where the cancer was, finally changed onc to Memorial Sloan Kettering. Voila it was in my peritoneum I was put on Xeloda in July, 2017 and theTM did not rise.....for a while Had an emergency appendectomy in May and pathology found cancer cells on the appendix. PET last week showed stability except for 2 new foci at spot where appendix was removed. I'm still on Xeloda for another 2 months. Such a horrible waiting game Is anyone else dealing with Peritoneal Mets ?

You have similar initial Diagnosis as me and time frame. I was diagnosed it down to 98 and also have a bilateral mastectomy with the tram flap and the chemo for six months, radiation, tamoxifen, femera. Did that till 2008. At the very end of 2017, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer which spread to the ethereal lining of my lung. I’m using voice recognition so excuse the spelling! I am currently being treated at Georgetown Lumbardi. I think that since both of our cancers returned in Organ linings that it is similar and diagnosis. I am currently on Ibtance For the first time and letrizole once again. I just began these meds in January of this year. My question to you today is what were your receptors? I am intrigued and excited to know that you were at Sloan-Kettering. I am on their site weekly looking at various information on supplements and other things . I’ve considered at some point getting a second opinion and he is Sloan Kettering or Dana-Farber. Right now I’m stable, there’s been no increase and The cancer in the lining of my left lung has decreased at my first six months scan. As my cancer begin 20 years ago and I was well-versed in all the medications at the time, it is a different world today with chemo pills as opposed to IV infusion for so many conditions. I’m up to scale on my brands but not really familiar with the others. That’s why I ask you what your receptors were curious about your medication.
