Which RLS medications effect sexual pleasure?

Okay my website friends, I've asked more than my share of questions about RLS medications, but never this one. You will most likely know by the way I phrased this question that I am a female. So what would any of you say is, in your personal opinion, the RLS medication or medications that have the most negative effect on a woman's sexual pleasure?

Thank you in advance for your response.

Effect or Affect?

Sexual pleasure is achieved by friction- I know of no medication that achieves that particular occurrence.

Many medications affect sexual pleasure by diminishing the sensitivity of various organs.

As a male I cannot comment on your specific question.🙊

OMG! Madlegs1, I always thought you were a female. Damn, do I feel foolish? Madlegs1, I say that with love for your intelligence on this subject far surpasses mine and I will now rather non-gracefully, do the notorious 'walk of shame!' P.S. I think I want to go back to the person who wanted to cut his/her legs off. Then I can squiggle around on my female tummy and embarrass myself in a whole new way.

Hi,

Why did I always think you were female?? :))

Ah! A common misconception ( if that's not misconstrued ) on this site.

Must be my female dominatrix side leaking out in my posts!😇😆

As a female on Siffrol I can advise that this medication has the opposite affect. What particular med are you referring to?

I really wanted to start this with the comment "As long as the man is happy......" but I wont :)

Being a very openly manly man, unlike Madlegs1 who at best is a creature of indeterminate nature, (please click on link to find the best pic of Madlegs1 that I could find: photos1.blogger.com/x/blogg... ), I'll make a stab at it - no pun intended :)

Mirapexin can increase sexual desire, although it can be very frustrating if it increases it a lot and you have no outlet! All dopamine agonists have this potential but not everyone experiences it.

Cannabis can increase enjoyment as the sense of touch is heightened and for men can delay orgasm which should increase pleasure as you will be on the job longer :)

Opiates - for men - can delay orgasm and as with cannabis increase the time making love and tactile sensations can be increased.

With sex being so tied up with how we feel if we are in pain and out of sorts sexual desire and enjoyment is decreased. Any drug that brings relief from your suffering should increase sexual enjoyment.

I was thinking of offering my services as I couldn't imagine a better way of you increasing sexual enjoyment than to spend a night with me, however my Mrs seen me typing the offer and the howls of laughter made me decide against it :(

Hope that helps.

I would just like to add:

I knew it!!!!! (That Raffs would reply).😝

I thought about replying "ok, Raffs, you're out on this one", but instead decided to see where it went.

Gotta get my sexual urges sublimated somehow :)

I am starting to get the feeling you lot think of me as some sort of sexual degenerate.....have any of you been talking to my Mrs?

in reply to

Haha, but no , I haven't. I'm just having fun 😁

Nothing but respect meant,

in reply to

raffs only you, only you. :D

in reply to

Is that an offer? :p ;)

in reply to

OMG, seriously???

in reply to

Oh yeah, I'd never pass up an opportunity to be with Elisse :) :) . Its number 6 on my bucket list :)

in reply to

Not sure whether to be relieved or annoyed i am no 6. :(

in reply to

Well my Mrs would say you would likely only really be annoyed if I were to sleep with you :). If I was convinced you were a sure thing I could bump you up to 3 but Going to the moon and getting rid of RLS are still staying in the top two.

in reply to

I will agree with the RLS as being no 1 for sure. As for anything else, we will just stay good friends. :)

in reply to

Nooooooo thats not what i meant. !!! Only you could have any answer to any sex problem :P :D

I am not sure but the comments on weight gain using lyrica suggest to me that libido could be effected. Not sure if there is any linkage or evidence to this hypothesis?

Might be better just wearing the lycra.

Oooops- sorry about misreading that- didn't have the prosthetic eye in.😨

in reply toMadlegs1

As long as the eye is the only prosthetic you need ;)

Funny.. I left a comment but it must have been deleted.

All the opioids unfortunately reduce testosterone levels.. including a Kratom, which ultimately negatively affects pleasure.

Some doctors can prescribe a testosterone cream to compensate for the decrease.

I would imagine that many of the DA's increase pleasure.

in reply toUreshi17

I get the opposite, bloody typical!

I can't say the opiates have had an effect as I have been on various types of them for about 14 years and in that time I can't say my sex drive has diminished much if at all. There have been times I have been without them that due to pain and discomfort I couldn't even think about sex let alone perform it.

The DA's increased the sex drive so much as to be uncomfortable and although I joke on here lots about sex it was never anything that consumed me like it did when I was taking Miripexin. I couldn't concentrate as I was distracted by thoughts of it. I can't say the DA's did anything to change my experience of the act but no matter how much I was having I never felt satisfied - not pleasant at all!

I take Lyrica and Tramadol and have definitely noticed a reduction in sensitivity and pleasure since taking them. I have less interest in the whole thing in general but this may be my age (54) and the menopause. I am guessing rightly or wrongly that the mechanism that makes me less aware of my troublesome legs also does the same for the more intimate parts of my body too.

I was referring in particular to Tramadol, Clonidine, and Gabapentin? But I certainly enjoyed the wide range of amusing answers. Thank you all. Your British humor was shining through. 😊👏💥😉

There was some Irish humour there too!!
