Monday, Monday, is the start of a song by Mamas and Papas and for all you lot going uhh who's that then? they were a group very popular in my young days and yes I was once young and double yes I can remember it very clearly. The human brain is a very complex piece of machinery for want of a better description and I for one would miss mine enormously should it ever decide to go walkabout but there are times, especially when it is listening to that stupid voice saying you need a ciggie, that I wish it would go for a very, very long walk of a superbly short pier!
Unfortunately, we can't live without our brain (and a few other vital bits) so we just have to learn to either (a) ignore it which is definitely not easy; (b) don't listen to it also definitely not easy or (c) listen to it and pay the consequence or (d) sing to yourself so loud that you can't hear what it's saying, hence the Monday, Monday song but any song will do just thought it appropriate as it is Monday? Very logical me!
What I want to know is where does Fags get all his great ideas from? Does he think them up himself? Does he pinch them off other folk? I mean, if they are all his own, why can't he share by harnessing and bottling it and then passing it on? Free of charge of course!
Monky, yes I do get exercise, twice a day every day, seven days a week. I hate to tell you this but when I say in my blogs that I have walked the dogs, I mean just that. I have been out with my shoes, hat, coat, scarf, gloves etc., etc. on and put one foot in front of the other and walked for about an hour with two dogs on leads who always, always want to go in opposite directions to each other which helps keep your arms well muscled. I have to ask, because I enjoy walking them, does this mean it's not exercise? If not, what would you suggest - definitely not going to a gym even though what I save on cigs would probably pay for some of it - so any exercise ideas would be gratefully received (especially ones that don't involve getting up from off my posterior) from anyone but just one condition, you must be able to do them as well so I know it is possible to do what you suggest!!
My eighth (who'd have thought it possible?) day smoke free and because I am a goody two shoes, not only am I going to abstain from ciggies this week I am also going to try and abstain from constantly eating. In truth, eating is doubly bad for me because I find that my biggest craving/wanting of a ciggie is after a meal or, yes daft it is, after any sort of food. So cutting down on 'in-betweeners' will definitely have a two-way advantage - hopefully no weight gain and not as many cravings for a cig.
Well folks, only a short mission statement this morning as I have a couple of house-working jobs to do before I go to work. So have a good day everyone and remember NO thank you will not upset anyone; or you could use the alternative of 'YES I do but NO I'm not going to' just so you don't become boring and predictable and TIME IS PRECIOUS SO WASTE IT WISELY.
Thinking of Sue and sending her lots of love, hugs and kisses and of course positive vibes!
Take care and see you all later.
