Halfway through the month and only 4 more weeks to go until National No Smoking Day - this can be used as your quit date or even as a day when you can practice stopping smoking for just one day and see how it feels.
Remembering that planning is key to staying successfully quit - So to get you started have a read through the following blog:
it's lovely and sunny here today, thank goodness, it's melting all the ice wish i'd waited till now to go out, went out earlier and slipped all the way to the shops at least i wasn't as bad as my daughter, she fell going to work yesterday and broke her wrist, at least grandbaba is okay
Stay strong everyone, we can all do this together hope you all have a great day x
Oh no Sue - re your daughter and her broken wrist. I hope that she's okay and am so glad that Grandbaby is okay! Let's hope that she's not in plaster for too long!
All our snow has gone, yesterday Leeds centre was gridlocked with the snow! What strange weather we're having!
Hope everyone got lots of Valentine's goodies...I popped to Tesco this morning after I'd taken my daughter to school and there were at least 4 blokes buying bunches of red roses/red flowers...so romance isn't dead
Hope you're well too Emjay and John
Am away for a hot bath, I haven't stopped all day!
I haven't stopped today either, till now that is away to start again in a minute. My daughter just has a splint on, that's the new regulations for a clean break, she's not to happy though cause it's not firm enough so she's still in pain,
Hey Sarah, that is brilliant You are now into your 5th week - your 2nd month! Keep up the momentum and you'll be at your next milestone before you know it
Oh Sue, sorry to hear about your daughter - Glad that your Grandbaby son is okay though
Hope youhad a lovely relaxing bath Chickles
Hey John, I hope you're enjoying your day
I recieved a lovely Valentines message this morning too Sarah, but not sure who it was off... It just said guess who :0
Hello everybody, well I was shocked at your news Sue, good news that everything's ok with grandbaby though. Was wondering where you'd got to yesterday.
Sarah, glad to see you back up and about and clearly feeling good that you're now past 4 weeks. Well done, you are doing better each day - onwards and upwards!
Chickles, busy as ever, hope you enjoyed a nice relaxing wallow.
John, hope you're not getting too many withdrawal symptoms from those cakes.
I'm a bit fed up today so i may not be on much, i think it's because i'm in a lot of pain just now and the tablets are not doing much, hope i get better ones when i go to the hospital, plus i'm getting bad cravings just now for some reason, thank goodness i have to cigs in the house, am sitting doing my breathing exercises, sorry about the moaning
Hey Sue, sorry you're having that pain today - can't you jump up and down somewhere and get some pills that work? You have a good old moan on here cos that's what we're all here for as you well know. Don't forget how you used to do shouting and punching cushions.
that made me laugh Andi, remembering shouting in the park and scaring the dog walkers don't think i could punch cushions though my hands are too sore and i doubt if my knees would get me up
I was fed up at having yet another autoimmune disease but i'm glad i came on here, you always manage to lift my mood
