I'm ok today and not feeling at all bothered that Christmas and New Year are coming up as far as not smoking is concerned, well no more than usual anyway
It's very quiet on here this morning, I can't believe that I missed saying goodbye to Andi before she left for Norway to see her sister I would have liked to have said Merry Christmas to her. She will be back for New Year though so at least I can say Happy New Year to her. I will hopefully be getting my new computer on Wednesday so I wont miss out on things then.
I hope everyone is well and having a good day and not being troubled by cravings. If you are then come and have a good old moan to us
Sue, how are you feeling today? I hope you are feeling better and managed to get a good night's sleep.
Oh I meant to say, I've just had a telephone call from Stop Smoking, who organised the Stoptober thing, asking me how I was going on and did I manage to stop smoking. I thought that was nice of them to phone up.
Just home from work here, called at the Post Office, I can't believe it's just cost me £8 to post 4 pressies. I think it'll be vouchers next year! I'm not a Scrooge, but that's daft! Thank goodness I only had one parcel to post!
Am having a well deserved coffee break afore I go and clean the bathroom, am washing the tiles down etc...got visitors tonight...
That was lovely of the Stoptober people to ring you!
I may have time to pop on later, depends how quick I can do the bathroom etc...
Sounds like you are a busy lady these days, no rest for the wicked eh? That is ridiculous £8 to send one parcel !! and the price of cards at some places is ridiculous as well. I love Christmas but I think some companies really do take advantage. Saying that, there have been quite a lot of sales on lately which is good.
Enjoy cleaning your bathroom If you don't get back later then have a lovely evening with your guests, speak soon xxx
Hi Sue, arthritis is horrible, I know a few people with it and I can only imagine what it is like to put up with constant pain day in and day out. It's horrible when you can't sleep properly as well. I hope you get some form of treatment from your Doctor. I think a lot of people think arthritis comes with old age but it can affect anyone at any age, youngsters such as yourself. I even knew a girl who suffered very badly with it when I was at school. You always sound so cheerful as well Sue and support everyone on here, so thank you, you're a star
Hi Kazz, a big thank you for calling me a youngster, that made my day
The pain can get bad and sometimes i want to scream, but mostly i laugh and joke about it cause life is to short to moan, that's the way i look at it anyway
I hope you have a great evening Kazz
Hi Chickles, sorry i missed your post earlier, you are a busy bee,
i hope you have a good night tonight :), a good old knees up
Hiya Pete, i'm doing fine, hope you are too hope that boss of yours is still being nice or i'll send my spears his way ------------->

So hubbies got the comp again then i hope you've mentioned to him that you could do with one yourself, maybe then he just might get you one for Christmas
I did say that to him, don't know if it will work though, monies a bit tight at the moment
But i can always steal it back when he's not looking, all i have to do is hide his glasses
monkyAdministratorCake sniffer outer• in reply tosue52
Ha ha ha hide his glasses nice one gal
I dont have to hide my specks, cos cat does it for me i get home from work at night and my computer table is almost empty yeah cos everythings on the floor, and under the chairs
what is it with cats and knocking things over, mine did that, he would knock stuff off the table and watch it hitting the floor my glasses are safe, there on 24/7, i'm as blind as a bat without them

she goes for her 20 week scan on Thursday, she's hoping to find out if she's having a boy or a girl i'll let you know what if she finds out honorary Grandad
monkyAdministratorCake sniffer outer• in reply tosue52
Do you not remember you are Grandad and Jillygirl is Gran that was spoken about a while ago now right enough, if you did remember them i'm sorry, i'll be having a senior moment
monkyAdministratorCake sniffer outer• in reply tosue52
I am ever so sorry Sue i forgot about it, so its me who had the senior moment gal and not you
I'm very impressed with you for opening the Daily chat gal, just one thing though, we usually put a daily picture on it, and not a picture of ourselves but i tell you Claire, a picture of a pretty Lady always cheers me up ( creep creep )
I'm on week 8 now, so next week i will have to drop down to the step 2 patches hmmmm i will see how it go's but i think the Christmas period will be the same for me, so am not worrying about that too much
Well done Pete, thats brilliant. Just remember; you've done the hardest thing by stopping and putting a patch on, look at dropping down as a positive. You're further away from the nasty ciggies...
Just a quick hello from me, I wanted to update you on Jillygirl
Our lovely lady is back home safe n sound and is now in the capable hands of her hubby. I'll update our 'Jillygirl blog' properly tomorrow as it seems to have fell off the end of the blogs!
I hope Andi has had a safe flight and is now having fun with her sister
Big waves to you all, Pete and Sue be good
