Had a lovely day today, went for a slow walk around the park, managed to do 1 mile so I,m happy. It took me a while to do it but I got there. The colours of Autumn are so beautiful, and best of all the lovely musty smell you get at this time of the year, a lot lot better than stale ciggys.
Cant beat a walk for relaxing you. I love to walk around the tarn near us which is just short of 1 mile. Hubby and I go nearly everyday as it gives us chance to talk things through but in a relaxed way. Like they say in Yorkshire Nowt like a breath of fresh air.
Lovely autumnal picture Mad. That was quite an achievement for you today so well done for managing it. I'm sure that if you get out there as much as you can it will get easier each time. I got out for a little walk this afternoon and went to the seafront. I've been saving the parks for running in latterly.
Thanks Andi, I,m going to have another go on Sat: little bits here and there I surpose are the only way for me to build up strength again, your lucky to live by the sea, I would love that as I find watching the waves roll in and out is very therapeutic. when I was on crutches I used to go down to the promenade ( about 40 mins away ) and just sit and watch while my Husband had a good walk, it was great. I,m going to have a 5 mile run later on, about 11ish ( in my dreams )
