Good Morning Everybody
Great to see that the message on the top of the screen has finally gone. I seemed to have got on here after just 2 attempts today, so things are looking up
I've had a busy few days and all my friends wedding celebrations are done and dusted now, just the rest of their marriage to enjoy now
It's good to see how well you are all doing. Fab news about Pete and JohnUK's CO readings dropping so low again A pat on the back to you both
Andi, day 1 of my getting fit starts tomorrow. I was considering the C25K too, but I'm going to start with a brisk 1 hour or 3 mile walk after work tomorrow, whichever takes the longest. I'm going to use you all as my motivation to spur me on. You are all doing amazingly well, so now I'm putting some of the same kind of efforts into my exercise... Watch this space
Sue, I only caught a glimpse of your Grandbaby scan as I was using my phone while I was away. You must be well proud, following the scan makes it all seem so real. You have a photie now of your reason for staying stopped
JillyGirl, enjoy your day and let everyone take care of you. Relaxing is what you need to be doing, when the kids are about, colouring in is plenty of fun rather than skipping and skootering at the minute
Ken green, you enjoy that well earned pint. I'm sure with the extra hour you can have an extra pint too
Weather is a bit wet here, not good if you are having to smoke outside
Hi everybody, weather, hmmmm a bit like yours Emjay, wet, grey, gloomy and depressing but not bothered, i managed to pot-up all the plants that i want to save for next year, so am not bothered if it freezes now
Andi, you enjoy Devon gal, only been their once, but its a lovely place as i recall
Jillygirl, as Enjay said you let your family pamper you today gal, cus you've earned it
Ken, nice to see you again pal, so your cooking your Mams dins then, just finished ours, you keep with it pal your doing just great, as for going to the pub after, just cant fault you on that one I darnt at the moment, need a few days under my belt before i go down there so you have a couple for me Ken not too many though eh
Emjay, it sounds like you had a great time at the wedding gal, just hope you remembered to take your headache tabs with you and thank you for your kind comment
As for starting your new hobby tomorrow, hmmmmm you do know that tomorrow never comes, dont you no Emjay i will back you up all of the way gal, but dont over do it eh, i'm sure Andi will put you rite with that, good luck to you gal, cus i know that you are a strong Lady, so you will do it
Rite thats enough of me gassing on, so will speak later
John, nice to hear from you again
For a start a BIG BIG well done to you for getting through yesterday, just brill pal
As for making promises, that is just one fantastic word John, it is
I myself made a promise to myself, ha ha it may sound stupid, but back to November the 10th 1985, i had a very bad car accident, and although all my family helped me at that hard time, my dad did the most for me, ha ha funny really because we didnt really get on at home !! to cut a long story short, at 89 years old he became ill, so i decided to go and live with him, to help him, as i had ''promised'' myself, the docs gave him 3 months, the old bugger lasted '6' months, and do you know i learnt more about him then, than i ever did as a kid !! and still miss him now
Although it was your caring and loving wife that you lost, i think i have felt a little something that you must be going through at the moment, you just think of the good times you had with her John, and like you say the word ''PROMISE'' is stronger than them cravings
Only an hour to go John and it will be 4 weeks of smoke free, and i tell you John, your wife would have been so so proud of you you keep strong pal, you know you can do this
Speak soon John
Blimey !!!! it has been quiet on here today
Hmmmm - let me think now, well that didnt take long
Jillygirl -- gone on a mystery tour and back to her daughters
Andi -- she's gone to Devon for the day
Sue -- where are you gal ????
Kaz -- are you ok gal ????
I cant help being boring just am thats all
Hi Pete,
I've been out since early this morning, was away visiting my aunt down in Lockerbie, sorry i forgot to say last night
What you been up to today xx
Hey there... Nobody about and then whoosh.... All here... Almost
Pete, it's lovely that you got to spend that extra time with your Dad and were able to learn more about him. Time is the greatest gift that anybody can give... Or receive too By stopping smoking, you are also gaining more time as well as saving money!
JohnUK, I think that working towards that promise is a great self motivator. Planning and decorating your Spanish themed room s a good way to keep occupied too. Will be keeping an ear out for it's progression
Hope you had a nice time today Sue and there wasn't too much snow bothering your visit
I've spent the day with all my family, which was nice. Quality time
Hi Emjay,
I had a lovely time, i don't see them that often cause of the distance, it can take 3 hours to get there
It wasn't too bad weather wise, I've had battled through anyway
Glad you had a nice time with your family, that's always the best time anyone can spend there time xx
nie nite Pete, sweet dreams , luv ya xx
Hi everyone, or should I be saying night night

It's a week for you tomorrow Pete, well done, I know you have had a hard week with those cravings and the long hours, so congratulations on getting through it.
