I smoked for 43 years and managed to quit. I check in here from time to time to give support. Quitting was the hardest thing I ever did. My advice... tell everyone you know that you are quitting. Check in here often.. Prepare to cry with frustration.. Post motivational sayings on your fridge. Understand that quitting can prevent you from all sorts of diseases. I had lung problems and absolutely didn't want to become a person who was dragging around oxygen. I breathe free and no longer have a smokers cough. If I made it, so can you!!!! I promise you!! Nancy.
