Good morning, afternoon or evening to all you gorgeous members out thereπββοΈ
For everyone taking part in our STOPTOBER CHALLENGE weβre nearly there, so I hope youβre all feeling very proud of yourselves ππͺ
For anyone who had a slip along the way, you can learn something from this attempt and take it forward for the next time you try.
Ask yourself what caused the slip up and decide what you will do differently next time. Review your quit plan as it can help you moving forward.
Donβt make excuses to smoke. These include things like keeping a pack of cigarettes in the house. Donβt hold or light other peopleβs cigarettes or sit in smoking areas just for a chat.
Your normal habits and routines may make you want to smoke. There are lots of things you can try to change these.
Itβs very important to stay motivated and believe that you can succeed. Hundreds of people every year successfully give up smoking - people just like you.
You become more comfortable with the changes you make in your lifestyle and theses changes become a new way of life. A healthier and better future is ahead.
A relapse doesnβt mean all is lost. Remember many smokers relapse before they quit for good. Return to the reasons you wanted to stop smoking in the first place and prepare to quit again.
We are here to support you through it all. IF AT FIRST YOU DONT SUCCEEDβ¦β¦..TRY TRY TRY AGAIN. NEVER give up trying and your perseverance will pay offππ
