Good morning and welcome to our Weekend Chat everybody πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
Itβs time to say goodbye to January and hello to February. I think January is one of the hardest months in the year as the weather is usually cold and this year in particular, weβve had bad storms as well. So I really want to congratulate all of you for getting through this month smoke free π Well doneπ
The thought of a nice new month with brighter evenings is definitely one to hold on to. We can put January behind us and move forward with renewed determination on our smoke free journey.
Sometimes we need to have a little chat to ourselves about our commitment. When the going gets tough and we feel a bit disheartened at times, thatβs when we really need to dig deep. We can remind you that your quit smoking journey is the best thing you can do for yourselves. We can also remind you that the craving will pass. You are stronger than a little white stick full of harmful chemicals. When it seems the struggle is all uphill, you turn a corner and things improve. So never give up.
One craving at a time, one day at a time and keep fighting π€Ί
If you had a slip up last month, take this month as a fresh start and a new beginning and please try again. Sometimes itβs takes a few attempts before we get it right.
Listen to your body and be kind to yourself, you are worth it. Have a great smoke free weekend and weβre here if you need us for anything, take care and NOPEππͺπππ°π«π°π«π€xx

You played a massive part in my journey as all the admin here did and members too. Quitting with others was amazing sharing our journeys together and supporting each other too.
White rabbits ! Good morning Briarwood and everyone clicking in . Yes White rabbits is an old tradition . If on the first of the month , if the month includes the leter R you say White rabbitsto bring you luck.
My neighbour used to put sugar on her outside doorstep. Meant to be a tradition to feed the fairies for good luck.
I wonder how many more traditions are still around.
