Here are a few tips to stay calm during difficult times. As you breathe, relax the muscles in your face, jaw, shoulders and stomach. Count to 10. In the time it takes you to do so, you maybe able to look at your situation with a fresh pair of eyes.
Take a few slow deep breaths and focus on your breathing 😮💨
If possible remove yourself from the stressful situation by stepping out. Just a few minutes will help put the situation into perspective.
Try a 3 minute meditation……… In a quiet place position yourself comfortably and close your eyes. Notice how your body feels and allow yourself to relax 🧘♀️
Find something positive, something for which you can be thankful as every cloud has a silver lining. Look for it 👀
Eat well as good nutrition is an important management tool🥝🍎🫐🍍🥑🥦
Get moving as exercise really does boost endorphins and improve better sleep🏊♀️🤸🏼♂️🚴♂️🏃♂️➡️
Let it go……..what happened yesterday is in the past so don’t stress over it. Just keep calm and carry on🚭💪
Keep up those great quits and be proud. Every day smoke free is an achievement👏👏👏
Have a great weekend and remember NOPE🚭👍☕️🍰☕️🧁☕️🍰💃xx

Good morning to you Briarwood. It's a very wet Saturday morning here in Tuscany, so I've a little more time for our virtual world I've managed to get my PT, Stellina, out and back between downpours. She's getting used to the idea that we go out, whateveer the weather, she's a corgi, for goodness sake not a lap dog.
I've just seen that today is the 19th, so I thought I'd boast about my QUITVERSARY! 6 years and 4 months👏🏆👏🏆
Last Sunday I managed to trip up on the manky footpaths and ended up spending the afternoon at A&E! When I eventually got home I did have a weird thought, that I needed a puff I don't have any in the house and these fantasies don't last for long. It's so unbelievable that even after 76 smoke free months, old Nic dares to raise his ugly head. He wouldn't help with the physical pain and he would definitely hinder the healing , as he messes with the circulation of our blood.
I thought I'd share this just incase anyone else is thinking, well lighting up just one won't hurt! WRONG! N.O.P.E. NotOnePuffEver, is the only way to go!
Good morning lovely lady, so sorry to hear you had a fall and a trip to A&E 🥹 Hope you’re feeling better soon💕💐
Yes unfortunately those weird thoughts still can occur from time to time, the cheek of old Nic 😡 He won’t catch you out though coz you’ve come too far to fall for his tricks. Thanks for the reminder that he wouldn’t have helped👍
HUGE CONGRATULATIONS on your 76 months quitversary🎉🎉 So proud of you👏👏 and sending healing hugs your way for a speedy recovery ❤️🩹 🤗🤗🤗XOXOXO😘😘
Thanks Briarwood, this morning I managed to get to the opticians for, very expensive, new glasses. I also went to the hairdressers, I can't wash my own hair with stitches on my eyebrow. That's made me feel better
Thanks for the healing hugs, they always work 🤗 😍🤗
🤣🤣 Glad I am not the only one. So frustrating when you go into the room and dont know why. xxx
