Don't you do it.. take deep breaths and get something to drink and if you need to chat then do just that.. just don't smoke it will get better hug's
Hi nkineza, you need to distract yourself, read a book, clean your teeth, run up and down the steps, jump on the spot, ring a friend. Cravings last between 5 and 6 minutes, and each one beaten is one less towards your smoke free goal!
Hi nkineza, I totally agree ,might as well go for a walk!๐โโ๏ธ At the beginning of my quit I managed to exhaust my dog๐.................BUT be sure you don't have enough change in your pocket to be able to but them๐ญ!

Don't give in to them cravings I know it's hard but you can do this..we all been there and it does get better...
Everytime the craving starts I do my breathing exercises and that helps me.. you gotta figure out what your vice is hon
Oh well since it is the first I go without a cigarette for....... I have no idea what is my other vice!!! I may discover something new about myself along the way!!
Now see that's a good attitude to have.. but it's not easy to quit and this group knows that..
That's the brain messing with you.. but you really can quit it's hard but can be done..
Yes you will live to see another day.. that's gotta be valuable..plus you will feel better knowing a cigarette didn't beat you...

Hi nkineza, if you haven't already read the post mind games that Tubbs put on here a few days ago. Its good ammunition for the fight hun, the more you know the better you can deal with it and make sure you do those breathing exercises that our gal's been talking about. You can find them in the pinned posts.
So when that craving hits get on here and chat it out with someone..or take deep breaths and say to yourself I will not let you defeat me no longer.. hug's โฃ๏ธ

Hello nkineza just hang in there and focus on why u are quiting.Dont just give in to them cravings just try ur best to distract it
For me it was the first week especially the first three days. Hang in there hang in there it gets better trust me.
Remember one thing nkineza at the end of every tunnel there is light so Sweetie try ur best to see that light by distracting them cravings

STOP THINKING about smoking!occupy yourself more. sometimes cravings happen because you are bored, fed up. Remove what makes you feel like that...pace yourself and REWARD even for a day not smoking. Many people do a big mistake GOING COLD TURKEY, that's too fast...set yourself achievable goals....and stick to them.
Dear nkineza, the first week is the hardest. We have all been there. Keep yourself busy! Go for a walk, take a bubble bath, put headphones on and clean your house....etc. You can do thisโ stay strong๐๐ช๐
Oh it is...๐ค๐ฅบ๐คข๐คฎ๐ก๐ but i am busy telling myself loudly how beautiful my skin will look like with the cigy out of the picture!! And I am already planning what I will do with the money I used to spend on cigarettes! I am going to spoil myself with it!!
dont even think about it lol!! Close your eyes -& turn your back & if the weather is good -go outside where you cant see them & chant the mantra (YES I CAN QUIT SMOKING!!! ) over & over -think of all of the long term health problems say to quote a phrase under different circumstances JUST SAY NO!!! (I DONT WANT A CIGARETTE!!!!!) When you get up in the morning & you feel a craving chant those mantras
Use positivity it will help you in the long run!!!! You can do it !!!!
