BLOOD TEST APPOINTMENT WITH EMLA CREAM-

hi all

Ive got to phone my doctors surgery Monday morning having now received the letter from the hospital to make an urgent appointment to have a blood test so the hospital can get on & do my breathing test & scan

If they say why didnt you have it done at th hospital Im going to tell them that they refused to let me use emla cream & I wont have bloods done without it & while Im at it try & find out why

I really hope that the tests do confirm no lung cancer (although the doctor at the hospital & the letter said there was no evidence of it-thats only her opinion)

Ill update everyone in all stages

Cheers I tried to get an appointment for one on thursday or friday but some incomptent receptionist kept putting barriers in my way no matter how many times i mentioned the hospital letter &she kept papping on about meetings about this & that about letters & other stuff & who does what.She kept saying theres an appointment in November which i refused because it needs to be sorted much sooner .In the end I got my mum to speak to her & she put her foot down onto the receptionist.who told my mum to tell me to phone back after 12.00 to get one of the nurses to fit me in on Tuesday. Im going to try & phone in the morning though to see if I can get an appointment for the afternoom. If both fails then both me & mum will be going down to the surgery to insist that i have one ASAP
