I'm feeling nauseous. Is this normal?

I was advised to buy "The Easy way for women to stop smoking" by Allen Carr.

It has just arrived so looking forward to reading it as I have a quiet day today. Has anyone else read it? Spoken to many who have successfully quit after reading it. πŸ™

Hi Agentparsnip, I'm afraid feeling nauseous is quite a common withdrawal symptom.

Try to be patient with yourself and kind to your body as it's going through tough changes.

I haven't read that particular book but knowledge is power!πŸ’ͺ🚭xx

Hi agentparnip, Feeling nausea is very common. try a mint or similar to take the feeling away. The Allen Carr book is very popular and over the past few years we have had a mixed reaction . Some members have found it useful others were not as sure. All you can do is give it a try.

I suggest you have a read through the pinned posts and perhaps some of the success stories.

Hi Parsnip.

I quit without Allan Carr’s book, in fact I had never heard of him,

Cant help with you feeling Nauseous as we are all different, no two people are alike.

As jillygirl suggests, read through the community pinned posts! πŸ˜€

My biggest issue has been insomnia but that has started getting better now and I think a big part of it is I have loads more energy now I have stopped smoking.

I hope the nausea eases for you soon... good luck :)

Yes I remember the first time years ago I had bad nightmares! My problem is that after I feel so well I start to get hyper. I can't rest and feel hyperactive, happy and we'll and end up feeling like I need something to calm me down..

Hello Agentparsnip, feeling awful is normal. Cold turkey is a roller coaster, so tighten your seat belt and scream. It does get better but it gets worse first. It's the storm before the calm. You can can do it , it just takes time and being kind to yourself. Good luck.
