When you stop smoking does it affect your personality

when you stop smoking it shouldnt change your personality. Some people do get a superior attitude to smokers, and forget they used to be addicted too.

I dont like being near other smokers , however I never say anything to them as I know how hard it is to stop. I occasionally tell them I dont smoke , due to lung cancer. That usually shocks them and then I recommend Quit Support.

We are all human and have different ways. Which I believe we should respect. x

I dont think quitting smoking changes your personality, I was always a happy go lucky sort of person, and I’m still that way now 😀🌞👍

Hi Adhi, do you think yours has changed? If so in what way?

Whilst I was giving up I had mood swings (although my family will tell you that I still do!!)

My laugh is no longer the same and apparently I don’t sound the same when I talk either 🤷‍♀️

But on the plus side, your 19 months smoke free... whoohooo 👏👏👏👏🚭🚭🚭🚭
