Is it normal to suffer excessive levels of dizziness when quitting? I'm into day eight and it's the only untoward symptom experienced.

Hi Taffy what you are experiencing is as a result of increased oxygen to your body rather than carbon monoxide from smoking and improved circulation. This is fairly normal in the early days of quitting. Have a look in the pinned posts for further information on withdrawal symptoms for your peace of mind.

Thank you Corrina, I was concerned as I have already had an underlying postural hypotension condition for many years. I think I'll take the advise I've seen in the pinned posts and get my bloods checked.
