Day 9 progress....LAST NIGHT WAS TERRIBLE!

OK so I've made it to 9 days.....but last night was a nightmare...tight chest pains longing for a cigarette.....head pounding!...couldn't sleep.was getting really angry.....but this my brain healing after so many years of smoking.....I'd be an idiot if i thought everything was rosy after only 9 days....but this is my path now....the one I've chosen..the path of my freedom..no doubt it will get worse some days for me...to get to heaven you got to walk through hell....... :)

Just think if you put the money away what you would have spent on ciggies you will be rich, and if you add that money to a swear box. Well! you would be a millionaire. :P

I am on Day 21. For the past three out of four days I've felt short of breath and I have been wheezing. After many doctor visits I know it's just withdrawal and healing. However, it's extremely difficult to deal with this psychologically as well because we all think we should feel better right after quitting. There are times when I wake up in the morning that I feel dizzy or just tired, or sometimes I feel better than the night before, but I still want a cigarette. There are habits and then there is nicotine, which is worse than many opioids. Nope---I will never take another puff!
