Soon 11 weeks and still strugling
It is soon 11 weeks and I do feel worse than ever. Is it going to be worse before it gets better? Has it happened to anyone of you?
Have a nice time and keep strong!
Feeling worse at the 3 month mark is pretty common. It does get better. xx
Thank you jillygirl, I just need to hear this.
Do members say whether it lasts the whole month or just at the 3 month mark?
exling please stay strong, I promise you it will get better
Thank you Corrina125, let's hope for better days!
Wen I quit my thyroid went haywire so I felt awful, short of breath, heart palps, anxiety, just horrible. If you continue to feel bad, you may want to see your Dr. I encourage you to exercise as much as possible and drink lots of water, it really does make you feel better. you are doing great at nearly 11 weeks, stay strong, this will soon pass. Congrats on your journey.
Thank you MAB5, your words mean a lot!
exling I am at three months today and feel great!
But, I found days 70 to 80 really painful and slow.
I presumed it was the neural pathway remnants in my brain being over-written with the new habit and also a bit of a dopamine low - a minor skirmish I am fighting on another front!
Also I realised (in arrears) that I was changing my routine to mix it up, as I was scarred of even going outdoors; another investment that is now paying dividends.
Stick with it, it sucks, but boy, is all so worthwhile
Greetings, I am so happy to hear that you feel great at the 3-month mark! I would like to think that the same will happen to me and thus I must be patient. Please let us know how you feel in the following weeks and whether all your withdrawal symptoms are gone for good. This would give relief to many of us who are still fighting to remain smoke-free.
Yea I am there Feb 11 my day bad sad yesterday then something good happened I successfully blewup a balloon. Small victory but I will take it.
Congratulations RUPFJU, keep strong!
Well done, exling, 11 weeks is great. Just keep going. Add one minute to another, one hour to another and so on, you have already come a good deal of the way to setting up a counter-habit of a life free of cigarettes. Imperceptibly life without smoking will become normal and you'll simply forget about the addiction. Chin up!
Thanks a lot Alley-sloper!
cravings have been sneaking back in? Where have they come from? I finished my dinner yesterday an all I could...
Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well. Yesterday we all got together and listed our benefits...
poisoning it. You are special. Some of you may be wondering about how you feel when you first stop smoking...
