This is day 12 of quitting and ive just recovered from a cold. However ive got a persistent cough, sometimes dry, sometimes phlegm with brown specs.
Both disgusting and annoying! Also disturbing for folf at work. How long can i expect this to last?

Hi Collette and welcome😊
First of all a big well done for 12 days smokefree, fantastic 👏🏼👏🏼
Unfortunately a cough is very common and your lungs are trying to clear themselves and begin the healing process.
Try hot water and honey to ease things and suck some lozenges. Because you've had a cold it probably feels worse at the moment. Sorry I can't say how long it will last so please be patient. Your body is going through huge changes at the moment. Have a read of the pinned posts as lots of info there to help.
Hope you feel better soon💐😊
