Well that's me 6 and half weeks of those horrible things. I'm off out tomorrow night again but this time I'm gonna be with smokers. I've passed the tests of drinking with non smokers, sitting in company with smokers but just not the alcohol and smokers together. Has anyone got some ideas how to cope in this situation xx

I'll be in the same boat this weekend. I'm going to try and limit my alcohol and I keep thinking about my 6 week badge I'll get on Monday. Massive will power fee!!!. We can do thisπŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ🚭🚭πŸ₯‚

Well I'd say drink slowly and not too much but you can still enjoy yourself and keep NOPE firmly planted in your mind. Have a great smokefree weekend and huge congrats for your great quitπŸš­πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ˜Š

Drink slowly and have a water in between drinks. Maybe offer to be the sober driver..ask your friends to help you remain smoke free . Good luck πŸ€πŸ€πŸ€πŸš­πŸš­πŸš­πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Hi lovely, i am on my 3rd quit now and this is where i have messed up both times.

Are you taking NRT? If yes, make sure you take this with you and use it properly all night. Do you have a vape? I would recommend taking one JUST IN CASE the feeling crops up, as a last resort.

When everyone goes out for a cigarette, stay inside. Whatever you do, do not go outside with them. I find it makes it really hard when you see everyone else doing it.

Try not to worry about it too much and stay strong, you can do this :) keep your phone close by and write something on here if it is getting too much :)

Hi w33 I would definitely take your mouth mist spray with you even if you've stopped using it just so you have something with you. You may not even need it but just knowing it's there may help. You're doing fab on 6wks quit so keep nope firmly planted in your mind and have a great smokefree eveningπŸ‘ πŸ˜„
