The last two days have been truly awful. It has been the doctors strike and as a nurse prescriber I was asked to come in and help out. Busy in waves I found periods of time I was sat around doing nothing but waiting. I was out of my comfort zone and the cravings hit. Anyhow I didn't cave but it was difficult. Came home and went straight to bed. The cats have been a huge comfort. Just shows that you have to be on your guard at all times. I have also found green tea very soothing. Apparently it is supposed to be good for healing the respiratory system.
Well done you. When I have had a bad day I come home and go to bed, a new day tomorrow , you won mr Nic today proud of you, hope you are getting lots of cuddles of your cats, the best medicine ever xxx

Thank you... it is an amazing job... so honoured to be able to do it. Seriously people let you into their lives so freely. You get to see the best and worst.. but mainly the best of humanity. Feel a bit better now. Had a plate of oven chips and more green tea... not v healthy but not smoking!!!!
Well done 4cats.. there are always times when you get tested..you proved you can get through..you will be that little more stronger come the next test.

2 days with no cigges and still going strong
ive had a chest virus 3 wks now so decided to quit Going cold turkey only 2 days..since my last ''fix''
