Wow Fantastic Bonnie, so glad you are feeling good :) well Done we are at the same place 4 weeks, as for going out and drinking, it was not to difficult for me as the smokers had to go out the pub in the rain and smoke, so I didn't join them. Don't get me wrong it wasn't easy, as I had a little niggle to say go on then from Mr Nic, but didn't :) Again proud of you well done x

Hi Bonnie, great quit so well done to you👏🏼😊

If you drink wine, have spritzers and if not, take a tonic water in between drinks😉

You don't want to be a smelly smoker again👍🏼🚭

Hi Bonnie well done on reaching four weeks that's amazing. I didn't have a problem with drinking and got drunk quite early on and think I actually enjoyed being drunk without smoking more. But for some people it does lower inhibitions and could lead you astray. Just make sure the people you're with understand you have quit and ask them to support you through the nights drinking that helps. When people smoke I just use the inhalator then it's a big like you're still joining in but secretly you feel more happy because you don't need to smoke. 😀😎

Helloo-good people, personally Im getting very tired of trying to learn to rebreath and starving every 3 hrs--Im disgusted---No I wont smoke-but this sucks--Ive never been so hungry in my life--no self control--and I dont want to eat celery--im hungry for FOOD---Concerning drinking and not smoking--I wouldnt attempt that --alcohol would make me lose my reserve--Unless you are firmly embedded in your non-smoking program be careful---I have no desire to drink and not smoke--and i chain smoke when I drink--I rarely drink so stopping that behavior is a breeze--however if I was younger it would be a real trial)Good luck--I mean that--let me know how you coped--MmeT sorry I sound so negative--but im tired of eating and gaining

yeah your right--Getting groceries this week and gooln to do that--Im still going to see a GI Dr because it is such a gnawing awful feeling I almost passout--if I dont eat immediately and then you know you just grab--I cant get thru the nite without waking up starved and getting up to eat--I don't think this is normal anymore and don't feel like low blood sugar XXX Mm

Go to dr and get checked out. When my husbands sugar drops he gets the same way.

Hi bonnie89 with regards to drinking, many people would advise you not to drink during any attempt to stop smoking, all I would say is that if you are a heavy drinker or just like a drink...:-) just have a couple and then drink water...friends who smoke & drink could be a trigger so if the urge is too strong...give it a miss for a few days and let your pals who smoke know that you have stopped smoking...it worked for me and when I go out i still have friends offering me ciggarettes & when I tell them that I am a non smoker....the look on their faces!!!! I love it...also the smell of cigarettes and the smell of other smokers should put you off....and you will say to yourself I smelt like that...give it a try, some people abstain from drinking until they feel more confident.

You are doing the best thing for your body....it will thank you...
