Today is day 4 of going cold turkey, very surprised myself that i could do it. The thought of smoking is just like smoking a cigerette, it is constantly on my mind, I feel positive about quitting but i get through the day one hour at a timne and keep telling myself, I have put to many days in to smoke, my husband quit with me and his mild manner has sustained the beast that aroused during craving moments, I also can say rambling on and on must be a part of quiting lol

A cold turkey quit is not something to be sniffed at so well done you! I was an out and out b**** when I quit cold turkey but it does fade...eventually! Keep going as you are doing brilliantly and one hour at a time means that each hour you tell yourself to wait another hour is an hour closer to forever 😁

Boy am I glad I found you guys, you can vent, fuss, feel sorry for yourself, self pity, be proud, any emotions you going through fand find the positive support from you guys. With that being said and the immediately support i receive after posting for the first time, and reading others older post, I have chosen at the moment i know to be in control of my destine , I choose not this addiction to continue to win , remain smoke free and realize that it's a victory instead of the dreadful feeling of each moment is a lifetime, thanks everbody, I will succeed and I will try to be positive especially my feeling

It's crazy why am I mad it seems about doing something that I know is great! and definitely good for me!!!

Hiya itnotme and welcome to our lovely quit family😊

4 days cold turkey is brilliant, well done hun👍🏼

It's a roller coaster of emotions this quitting malarkey so hang on tight, believe in yourself and you CAN do it. Staying positive is a big bonus and rambling on is absolutely accepted here😂

Glad hubby is doing it with you and you can keep one another on the right track.

Don't worry about it being on your mind coz tbh it's all we think about in the early days but it will get better.

Lots of good advice under pinned posts on the right and we are here to help you every step of the way. Good luck and if you can manage to drink lots of water to flush toxins out of your body, it'll help. Also a bit of excercise works wonders😊

NOPE not one puff ever🚭🚭🚭🚭🚭

thank you so much, I will drink more water and what about starting to put away about 12 dollars a day that my husband and i was paying for cigarettes, that is our reward money and it like we won our very own lottery, We are planning a special time for all the savings, If you can afford to buy them then you can afford to save that money for something rewarding for yourself, believe me you are worth it , I have found a new engaged power with you all, just like family!! love it!
