Well tomorrow is my 5 week quit ๐Ÿ˜€

I have cut my ecig to 1.2% now so less nicotine substitute going through my system ๐Ÿ˜€

Feeling great not eating as much as I was so even happier. Got a lovely pink tongue my dark circles under my eyes are nearly gone skin clearing lovely now. My senses are fully back especially my sense of smell ๐Ÿ˜Š I've now got an aversion to the smell of nicotine now cannot stand the smell of it as it is now making me feel sick (which has got to be a good thing lol)

I hope all u quitters are enjoying ur smoke free weekend

Wow Andy,

5 weeks is so impressive, well done mate.

Isn't it funny, just as Briarwood said, I've also never had a great sense of smell, but I can smell a cigarette from far away too.

Keep it up Andy, expect some ups and downs, as you've seen from some of the posts, we all have days that are better than others.

You're doing great

You are doing brilliantly Andy,

Really loving your positive attitude... I too hate the smell of cigarettes and when i think back to how much i would have stunk ( I never noticed it) but geesh..how people put up with me :D :D

Keep that guard up at all times :) :)

I'm excited about my skin renewing and not having the smell associated with me too.

I actually test drove a car on Thursday and the salesgirl was def a smoker. I thought she smelled gross, especially to be around potential customers. LOL

Funny how this stuff happens, isn't it? I'm not judging. Just noticed.

Smokers do take not that washing your hands is better than putting on lotion. Lotion is just greasy and makes the smell worse. ๐Ÿ˜ท

Thank u everyone. I can smell everything now I'm like a blood hound lol.

I never judge either when it comes to smokers at the end of the day we did it once and we smelt horrid just like that. It is weird that we don't notice it when we smoke I couldn't even smell it in my house when I smoked but now my house is nicotine free. With all the money I'm not wasting on cigarettes I am now using to redecorate my house starting with painting and then all the carpets are being replaced so looking forward to it.

Congratulations Andy๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰you're doing fantastic๐ŸŒท

This is a waaaay better lifestyle ๐ŸŒนI wish I could buy myself flowers like you do but my cat pulls them out of the vase and eats them hahaha. I know I told you that before. Still stands. Hahaha

Have a great day๐ŸŒบ

Wow this is my story! You took my thoughts right out of my head! The sense of smell is amazingly different and the smell of ciggarettes makes me gag... You have a couple weeks onme for your quit date but the journey is very similar. I was scared that I may have made a bad choice usuing the e cig but this is the longest I have ever gone! I'm so happy! Congrats to you and keep us updated!

Thanks Bev1234, I tried cold turkey on Sept 1st and was difficult so glad for you to have been able to do it that way! I admire those who can do cold turkey and I also admire all those who do it with other supports... Any way we look at it we are not smoking cigarettes right! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

I never thought I'd be able to do it that way, not after 20 years, I was in hospital for a week and never picked a cig up again, like I said before everyone has there own methods of stopping and your right every day without a cig is so much better on our body's

Keep it up your doing great xx

Hi Andy. I totally understand you, my smell buds after 1 week of non smoking got better too. It turned out that after I gave up smoking I dont like the smell of my sandwich (which I have been eating for 1 year) lol .

Have you tried giving up ecig as well?
