Hi Nancy, a warm welcome to the group. That's a great achievement especially after 44 years- and I'm sure you can keep it up.

And with the money you're saving from quitting there will hopefully be more short breaks. Enjoy your celebration!

Take care

Someone posted on here recently that rather than "quitting" they had turned into a "non smoker."

Thinking of the word quitting means to give something up. to let go , to cease something.

Its subtle, but I battle the urges with thinking of all the benefits. I feel so much better now, have so much more energy.

After almost 4 months I still think about it and have the occasional wave of longing.

But I am a non smoker! so I don't smoke! That wave passes more quickly now and happens less and less.

Keep going , you are now one of us NON smokers

NOPE (NOT ONE PUFF EVER)
