Well I took everyone's advice as you know went to see Liz my quit smoking advisor and she lowered my micorette invisi patch to 15mg week early than normal with having reaction to 25 mg invisi patch. But I've had a reaction to that one too doesn't make sense as ive always used the same brand patches 😣😑😀😒

Aw Leanne that looks sore 😩

Can you go back to Liz tomorrow and see if she can give you some other form of NRT as it looks like an allergic reaction. maybe someone else can offer you better advice and I'm sorry I'm not much help πŸ˜ͺ x

Do you have gum for the morning and perhaps you can back it up with inhalator or quick mist spray till you get sorted 😱 x

I'm soo sorry Leanne, your having trouble with the patches, cos there really good :) :)

Ermmm, I dont really know why this is happening to you at this stage of your quit :o I know they say to stick them to the top half of your body, but I have stuck them to my thighs and my bum, for relief :) it was harder and I got more cravings, but I got through it :) maybe try it yourself :) :)

Usually your body gets used to them after a few days, but your well into your second month now :) :)

Please leave it with me and I will try to sort somthing out for you :)

Hey Leanne, I heard Briar calling :D :D

I have a feeling that it's a new batch of patches from the last batch you've been using. Sometimes when the company (brand) make a new batch up there can be a slight difference in the glue/adhesive. If they're irritating you so much then we can look at getting you something different, I can chat to Liz tomorrow and I'll ask her to call you.

There are lots of other drop-ins that you can go to, you don't always have to go to the same one. If getting there is difficult because of work, FagEnds have evening sessions too πŸ˜‰

Let me know what you want to do and we'll work with you on it πŸ‘πŸ˜„

Cheers for the shout out folks πŸ˜‰

Hi Leanne, Had almost exactly the same. Felt like scratching it all the time. I persevered and eventually began to forget about. Only needed patches for 3 weeks .

I noticed the irritation stopped within an hour of removal.

Think it is just one of the accepted side affects.
