Well I'm on 5 days today and no smoking. It's hard but I find if I keep my self busy the urge goes away. The weather here in the Chicago area is turning nice so I have been walking every day. I'm starting to feel better as my breathing is getting easier and I have more energy

Hiya Shirl, you're doing fantastic so well done 😃 you're in Chicago lucky you getting some nice weather to walk in. Keeping busy definitely helps with those urges alright. A bit of deep breathing helps as well and anything really that helps take your mind off the smelly smokes. Glad you're feeling good and it's lovely to hear you're on day 5, stay strong and keep focused and it will all be worth it 😃 x

Aup Shirl, its great to see your doing so well and from Chicagooooo tooooooo :) :)

Hmmm, sounds like your having much better weather than us :o :) and yes, you get out and about when you can, breath that lovely fresh air :)

Hold your head up high and feel proud of yourself :) cos am so so proud of ya gal :)

Try to drink plenty of water too, cos this helps with the cravings and helps to clean all that flippin gunk out of your body that comes with smoking eh :o

Maybe try exercising, cos this helped me tremendously when I first quit :) I watched myself go from a coughing, spluttering, puffed out wreck, to ermmm, well just a bit of out of breath now, when I get off my rower :) :) Plus it makes me feel on top of the world :) The first few days are hard :( but, keep at it and you will soon see the difference :)

I will be whizzing around over them their fields very soon to catch you a new Winners badge :) and of course shine it up for you too :)

Take care now Shirl and just remember NOPE :) Not One Puff Ever :)

Hey Shirl, we all know how hard it is to quit, especially on the first few days :o So your doing ever so well :) and like you say, try to keep yourself busy doing something :) Spring clean your house, wash them flippin lampshades and curtains :o :)

Try to keep focused on your quit and keep thinking of the reasons why you want to quit for :) When you get these urges, get up and go into a different room, go up stairs to try to change your mode and way of thinking :) All these little bits help us :)

Got to go to bed now, cos am noddin see :o sooooo, see's ya soon and am sending ya strong, determined, I CAN BEAT MR NIC Vibes :) :)
