Hi hopefully and a warm welcome to quit supportππππ
COngratulations on your 5 day quit - that is awesome ππ
have you quit cold turkey or with NRT ? _ Do take a read of the pinned posts on the right as there is lots of info on what to expect as your body recovers form nicotine and all those other nasty chemicals in cigarettes.
You have a great attitude towards your quit ππβ β keep on staying strong - and constantly remind yourself of your reasons to quit and you will do fine ππ
We have a saying around here - NOPE Not one puff ever - keep this mantra close ππ
We do have a very supportive community of members who have all been where you are now and understand the struggles that can occur.
IF you have any questions, just ask away as there is generally someone around whoa can help.
DOes this make your quit date 29th of March ? PLease confirm your quit date so we can add you to our wall of winners.

Yes quit date wAs 29th March I'm taking champix there helping so muchΒ
Well done. I am at the same stage as you. This site is amazing and is really helping me. I wish I had known about it before! Stay strong and focused and be very very proud of yourself.
Loads of good advice there from glolin. From my experience of attempting to quit the real shift came when I placed support in & around me. Keeping close to this site is a major one & reading up on the storage of info under the pinned posts. And then putting them into action, whether it be drinking more water, practising some breathing exercises or discussing helpful NRT replacements...All has been a part of my Quit & assisting in my smoke free Life which by the way is a life beyond my wildest dreams. Keep going, if we can do one day we can do 5 as you have evidence for. Keeping it within the day is a fantastic way to build up our quit tally. An if we fall we simply get up & go again. Best to you, iris NOPE

Yep 1 week tomorrow woohoo for me nah won't touch a smoke now I've come this far π
Yes you will! One breath, one moment, one day at a time!
Welcome Hope and well done on your quitπ Your determination is really going to help and there's lots of good advice here too. On average we take 20,000 breaths a day and don't even think about it. Focus on your deep breathing and it'll help your cravings pass. Stay positive and take one day at a time, good luckππππ
Thank youΒ
