another thing you can try hun is tar bars. they r plastic filters you buy and put on the filter of your real cigarette and they block the tar in them. i used them for 3 months before i got my ecig.and they do work.

Hi Leigh-ann, I use an e-cig by ' Tottaly Wicked '. You can buy it on line, but I purchase from an e-cig shop we have locally, it is called a ' Tornado c ' you just fill with your favorite flavor of liquid, with different strengths of nicotine, I am down to 10 strength, my next goal is to reduce to 6, and finally be nic free. It's working for me after 45 years of smoking cigarettes, So go for it, you will be so glad you did. Good Luck. :-)

Hi Leigh-ann,

I am on the socialite brand, but my friend has a cheaper version and neither of us have looked back after starting on them. Speak to someone who can work out home much nicotine you need in your liquid, i was a B&H gold smoker so i needed the highest dose 2.4% but now i have cut down to the 1.8% and i havent noticed too much difference. A few hints to keep your ecig lasting longer, dont charge it over night, you will kill the battery quickly, 2 hours max to charge. Clean the battery with a cotton bud, as a little bit of vape somethimes leaks out. I dont draw on my too hard, and i dont have to replace the cannisters as often as they reckon. They say 6 refills, well mine goes for about 25! but my friend drags on theirs really hard and gets about 10 top ups out of it.

Good luck, you wont regret your decision to quit. xx

I used a SKYcig on offer at the moment for £10 for the starter kit of 1 cig 1 battery and 3 cartridges (the equivalent of 90 cigs).(think its SkyCig.co.uk) I started on 18mg and then went down to 12mg and then 6mg and then nothing.cartride replecements can now be bought at some Morrison supermarkets or on the net for about £24 for 5 cartridges, 10cartridges lasted me about 5 weeks and I smoked between 12-15 a day for nearly 40 years.GOOD LUCK.
