Anyone know a tried and tested way to stop the car smelling if smoke?

My biggest smoking regret is that I always smoked when I drove. Usually had 2 or 3 for a 15 minute drive. I got in the car today for the first time 2 weeks and it stinks! I had the valet people come last week and did a deep clean but it's still awful.

There are loads if suggestions online but I'm looking for some that others have tried and tested. I don't fancy driving about with a bowl of vinegar under the seats unless I know it works

Please help!

Hi Ellie, my car still smells slightly, even after 18 months. It's probably me being over sensitive. Get a small spray bottle and mix 1 part white vinegar to 6 parts water and keep it in the car. The vinegar smell doesn't hang around and does help. I used to use this around the house as well.

Thanks Andi I'll give that a try. Thankfully I never smoked in the flat so I'm not having to worry about that
