That's brilliant. Kind of puts a great big dent in the "e-cigs might be harmful" argument doesn't it. Glad it's working for you.

Hi Jules

Very well done and I am exactly the same as you - had asthma all my life and having smoked (also all my life - well nearly!!) and given-up after about 8 weeks SMOKE FREE my lung capacity quadrupled as well. Now over 6 months smoke free and I have managed to stop the inhalers - well the steroid one anyway and only take the ventolin every few days, this is amazing / a miracle. I wish to remain only positive about all this but I think some damage has been done by the steroids over all those years but I am dealing with it (I think!).

Keep going & best wishes

Jonathan

NOPE

isnt this fantastic. i always denied it made my astma worse but after only a few weeks smokefree i stopped coffing. stoped the steroid inhaler and reduced the ventilin by half. now 3 months down the line with this test i have to agree its the best thing i have ever done. i will never go back. i know i cant repair 40yrs of smoking. but looking forward lifes going to be much better thanks so much for your reply.

Hey Jules56, that is absolutely brilliant :-) Its great when we hear that improvements can be seen. Our bodies recover amazingly well if we allow them to. Well done to you for staying with it and keeping up the efforts :-)
