Good morning Jilly and Chuckles, - nice to see you, by the way, Jan.
Good morning everyone else too.
Yes, I also hope you had a good night's sleep. Mine was much better - didn't wake up til 5 - than couldn't get back to sleep. Never mind, got up and out for my run before it started raining. The sun's shining now so who knows what will happen out there today. Still windy though.
Jan, my ironing's still here if you fancy some more - oh and there's more in the washing machine as we speak.
Hello girls. All that ironing makes me feel guilty , I only have a small amount to do. trying to keep on top of it ready for moving.
Well my morning has certainly been different. My eldest Daughter and husband went to spain last week and were coming home yesterday evening. Her husband was complaining of a pain in his back. Jayne told him to stop moaning (as you do). By the time they were landing at Leeds Bradford Airport this is 4.00am. He was in agony. Stood up to get off the plane and collapsed hitting his chin which sent blood all over and knocked himself out. This was exactly in front of the door. So no one could get off at the front of the plane.
Mean while one already air born plane couldn't land and had to circle round. Fire engines and Ambulance came speeding down to the plane. Jayne said talk about high drama.
Cut a long story short He is now in hospital with suspected kidney stones. we are waiting for the hospital to call anytime now. So if I am not back later you will know why. I will be child minding. xx
What we were saying about kids yesterday, they are no different when they are grown up.
Send all the ironing you want :), mine's all done! House all clean and tidy too! Am going to test the grass later to see if it's dry enough to vac, I mean mow, ha! I am a bit of a neat freak! Can't do with the grass when it needs cutting and detest weeds even more. The garden is weed free at the moment.
Hope that your son in law is lots better soon Jilly!
Tis a proven fact that housework burns more calories than a gym session!
Well am away to sort out tea, spicy chicken with rice and other bits and bobs! Am proper starving! Had scrambled eggs and bacon for 'brunch'.
Good to hear that you managed to get your run in Andi! Lovely to see everyone!
Albert...I bet the dishes wash themselves automatically too
Laters all! Have a great evening!
Jan xx

I have just been showing hubby who is boss. He seems to think everything will be packed for Tuesday by a fairy godmother. . I try and be cross with him but it doesn't work. we always end up laughing at each other.
Evening all, the sun's just come out here too. Maybe we'll be able to see the full moon tonight - I heard something said about it being the biggest one for donkey's years.

Hmmmm about seein the moon tonight, no flippin chance, its just all cloud here
Aup Pete, no - too bloody windy! Went out this aft and bought some compost and had a nice walk down by the river in a spot I'd never been to before. Saw a green woodpecker and an egret.

Yeah, its bin rite windy here too, and may I hasten to add, not me before anybody starts
I thought you said before that you were taller than that. I too am 5'6".
Btw, how much weight have you put on since you started quitting smoking?
monkyAdministratorCake sniffer outer• in reply toandi22
I assure you Andi, I have never bin taller than 5' 6'',
I've put about 9 lbs on, but I havent done much exercise this week
Sorry to hear about your Son-in-Law jillygirl, hope he soon gets sorted out. He certainly knew how to cause the ultimate in chaos didn't he.
No I've not been out on my bike andi, been raining here all day off and on and windy too In fact the weather is poo, certainly no sign of any sunshine here. I've not been ironing Pete, I have a massive airing cupboard to take care of my ironing pile so just iron as and when needed.
After yesterdays events and as a newfound lady flytipper I've been buying in some stuff to get organised with. I now have two trauma bags. One for when we take my grandson out containing a tube of sterile water, bandages, plasters and wet wipes and one for me containing a pen, paracetamol, nail clippers, an emery board, plasters, tissues and a bottle of hand gel to kill 99.9% of all germs in seconds! There'll be no fly's on me
I've just had an idea. If Jilly flytipped all her worldly goods and bought new when she moved in (or at least threatened to) do you think hubby might chip in and help her? It would be a good way to declutter.
monkyAdministratorCake sniffer outer• in reply toandi22
Yeah, that sounds good Andi, but she's packed everythin now, well apart from hubby that is, hmmmmm I wonder
Hi guys if I throw away owt else I could nearly cancel the removal men. Already thrown loads of stuff and believe it or not it was hubbys idea of buying new when we get moved.
Yeah cant wait to shop for the new place.
Son in law now at home with loads of painkillers , and still in pain. hopefully he will pass these stones soon. I feel so sorry for him.
Well I am signing off now . Don't know if I will be on site or not tomorrow as phone line may not be active. So you know what I am doing if I don't show up for a few days.
Nite nite Jilly, hope everything goes well with the move (if we don't see you ). Also hope your son-in-law passes his stones pdq.
Sleep well and sweet dreams. xxx
Well I'm going now too as have washing up nonsense to do umm it's all wearing a bit thin now. Anyways onwards and upwards as they say, so good night andi, pete, jilly and everyone, sleep well, see ya tomoz!
Got an email earlier - I've now lost 4 pounds in weight since my peak a few weeks ago in the middle of May. I last weighed what I am now at the beginning of December.
