Hi All,

A supporter, who has sadly recently been diagnosed with lung cancer, has written a song and aims to raise £10,000 for various charities, including ours - the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. At the moment he is in the early stages of production and has released his demo onto youtube.

Although the words 'lung cancer' usually paints a picture of doom and gloom, I can assure you that the pictures and captions with this song will give you a smile and sometimes a good giggle :-)

He’s very conscious of how many views it is getting so as a sign of encouragement I said that I would post it here on Quit Support and ask people to share with friends etc. Here’s the link, have a listen when you can…

Hello everyone - johnkneem here! Just to let you know that the all-singing, all-dancing version of "Treasure Every Beat Of Your Heart" will be appearing in cyberspace NEXT WEEK!!!

It's going to be both ace and brilliant and we will put the tobacco industry out of business. Just keep that part of the plan between you and me.

DOH!

Hi johnkneem :-)

That's great to hear, I love your video - there are a few times where (here in the office) we've laughed out loud whilst watching :D :D

It's certainly a memory jogger too!

We hope to help raise the awareness with you about this dreadful disease. I'll send it out on our twitter account again too.

Keep up the good efforts, you're a good man and sharing your story will most certainly help others too :-)
