Well its dark, dismal and damp here in Derbyshire so far but what the heck, we are alive and kicking and whats more, I bet there isnt half as many smokers smoking, cos they dont want to go outside for a fix in this weather or is there ????
What makes them, or what made us go out there in the rain, snow, wind etc ?? If your other half said, just go out there and mow the lawns, in the rain !! you'd tell them to push off !! wouldnt you and wait until it was better weather to do it. So why cant we just tell nic to push off, cos we dont want him any more ??
What has nic got, that we really need, want, crave for ??
I found this article, although its a bit erm long winded, you might find it interesting
Whatever your going to do, or whatever your plans are, I hope you have a lovely happy day
Enjoy and keep on smiling, cos we're going to tell that nic to push off and get outa our lives

Good Morning Pete, Hope you manage to get a good sleep. You deserve a rest after the hours you have been doing.

Morning Pete
Like the verse and love that shade of mauve - got some knitting wool that colour somewhere so may hunt that out and put it on one side to use on my next knit.
Sorry about yesterday and pinching first but I never though until afterwards that you couldn't reply with a pic of Friday's child so next Friday is all yours cos I weally, weally want to know about Friday's little one.
I certainly must have been stark staring bonkers to go outside for a ciggie especially in January/February time when we had all the snow, etc., etc. Can't believe what possessed me and no wonder the neighbours cross the street when they we me coming cos they probably think I am some sort of mad woman!!!? What do ye mean, "well yeah"! Good job I knows ya.
Actually, will read the article you put in yours later today when I'm not rushing to do the shopping - always worth reading stuff as the more you read the more, hopefully, your brain and mind take in and take notice of and you're never too old to learn something new.
I'm with Monky in wishing you ALL, no matter what you do, make it a brilliant smoke free day to remember and do stay strong.
Have a great day and catch up with you all later - off to the supermarket now to spend loads of dosh!
Do you know - not many people know this - but we class all money as our money - do everything as one (ahhhhh!!!! ain't that just so sweet!!!!!!! - there's a bucket here if you need it Pete).
PS What else you got in your greenhouse - would you notice if I nicked the fuschia as I love that plant and have about a dozen hardy varieties in my garden!
Not quite what I had in mind this but found this and I thought it was quite funny - LOL
I, for one, am extremely glad I no longer have to endure the wrath of the weather to feed an addiction although I'm not entirely sure that my new addiction for cashew nuts and midget gems is as healthy on the waistline as smoking was.
I find Saturday mornings quite difficult. I get up and wait for everyone else in the house to move themselves from their cosy beds and lots of sneaky cravings creep in. Would it be selfish of me to go and turf them from under the duvet and shout 'let's go'? My poor family don't know what's hit them now as I very much dislike just sitting around with my new found energy
I hope the sun is shining somewhere in the country today (it certainly isn't here) and that everyone has a wonderful day

As for munching on nuts, although they are fattening they are also very good for you, they've got loads of nutrition in them I posted a blog about them a while back, I will have to dig it out and post it up
Take care now and dont you get wearing your poor family out with your new found energy speak later.

Oi, we have more than our fair share of cloud up here in the North thankyou. About time you southerners had a bit of the wet stuff. Mind you you're not that far away from Glastonbury are you, when was there ever not a mud bath at the festival.
Does anyone want some Hailstones, a Tub or two of cold rain, and a bit of sleet thrown in? All send with free Postage to your abode - just let me know, I'll post it First Class.
Feels and looks like a Nuclear Winter outside my front window.
Ah well, acceptance is the Key I guess.
Hope little Armor is coping okay John. Be awfully careful what you put on/in him. Some stuff can make things worse for pets. What a worry for you. I have my next door neighbours cat darting through every time I open my door. Her folks are away - so I think it's just human company she's missing. I haven't the heart to shoo her out... So, it looks like I'll have company over the weekend.
Enjoy a cosy indoor relax everyone. ( unless you're hogging all the Sunshine of course)!
xx
He's a pretty bird for all his troubles - lovely Sunshine Face.
