I’ve had 2 Zoladex injections ( 6 in total) after my first Laparoscopy and hysteroscopy surgery but my period still comes. The gp told me I wouldn’t have period so I’m confused. I use to have very regular period( usually comes 2 days earlier than previous month). But now my period can come 7-10 days earlier. It’s a messy.....Ladies, do you have similar problem? Shall I speak to my gp? Due to covid 19 reason I probably won’t be able to see the doctor....

Your periods would normally only stop before the menopause if you had a “Hysterectomy” .... that is removal of your uterus....a “Hysteroscopy” is not surgery...it is an exploratory procedure to View/examine your uterus.
If I were you I’d get in touch with the surgeon who did the procedures & ask him to explain what you should now expect.
Thank you for your help. I had laparoscopy and hysteroscopy together to remove some polyps because the doctor thought my endometriosis was too large. It will be removed in my second surgery. But before my 2nd surgery I’ll have to have 6 Zoladex injection. I though I wouldn’t have my period during the 6 injections lol. Thanks for your suggestions I’ll try to contact my surgeon to discuss it. We were going to have an appointment in May to discuss my condition but I don’t know if it’d be postponed due to the Covid 19.
The doctors are still there for the usual things so don't be afraid to ring them when you need to use them.
