I have IBS which is in relation to my having Fibromyalgia. My son also has it and is on Buscopan for it.

I was diagnosed with diverticulitis yesterday, i had a sigmoidoscopy and actually saw them on the screen.

I have never heard of it and i need to read the information the nurse gave me, i will also do some further research.

I was told it is caused by lack of fibre which in my case is ridiculous. i am a vegetarian and eat fibre by the bucket loads. I'm often called the salad freak by family and friends as i eat it with every meal, including Christmas dinner!

I also have Pudendal Nerve Entrapment, diagnosed last year due to a surgery i had where the surgeon sutured through the nerve in two places.

My bowel problems are symptomatic with PNE so i am shocked i now have Diverticulitis.

I am happy to help and give you any information i can.

If I may ask, what surgery did you have where the surgeon sutured thru your nerve?
