Have you heard about the Yellow Card Scheme?
This is where side effects can be reported. GP's can also use this system when people report side effects that are not included in the patient information leaflet.
I have had side effects but dont think gp reported it, didnt know if I could have done so.
Yes you can do it online here yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk/
You can report to the Yellow Card Scheme as a member of the public and you can choose to register or not with the site. This helps the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) to monitor the safety of the medicines that are on the market.
Alternatively, you can pick up a Yellow Card form from your GP surgery or your local pharmacy. Complete the form and send it to the address given on the form or call the Yellow Card freephone hotline on 0808 100 3352 (weekdays 10am to 2pm)
