Following extensive surgery to remove endo including deep within my pelvis, I have constant pain in my right pelvic area. I had the most recent surgery 4 months ago. Has anyone else had this? Many thanks for reading

constant pain in my right pelvic area after endo. surgery
What was your pain like before surgery and is the pain you have now different ?
( I've also had surgery for deep endometriosis)
Have you got the report of the surgery which describes the location of the endometriosis often with a diagram ?
Hi there - thanks for your reply. I had a laparoscopy in Nov 2009 which removed severe endo in the Pouch of Douglas(?).
I continued with endo symptoms and pelvic pain and had a further operation in march 2011, in which a growth the size of a tangerine was removed from my right hand side along with more endo.
I was still in pain with right pelvis area so underwent a further operation in March 2011, where adhesions and more endo was removed from deep within the pelvis.
I have more detailed reports at home (in the office at the mo!). I am still in a lot of pain – which I must admit is beginning to really get me down. Have you had a similar experience? Many thanks G
Did you have a diagnostic laparoscopy before the 2009 surgery ? or was the endometriosis diagnosed during the 2009 laparoscopy ?
Did you have 2 surgeries in March 2011 ? I've had a lot of surgeries and have been in constant severe pain for 13 years. I was diagnosed in my 20's while living in the USA. The disease progressed despite various hormone treatments. The severe disease was overlooked during a laparoscopy many years later in the UK. It progressed further. The pain became constant. I finished up having several surgeries but the neuropathic pain was already there and no one realized ( apart from me ) For the last 11 years I've been a patient in France ( my last two surgeries were there ) - that's where I've been followed up and it's where the doctors figured out what was happening.
Hi
I had surgery some years ago. I also had endo around my Pouch of Douglas. I get a pain in my right pelvic area, but it's not constant, it comes and goes with no pattern, I can't relate it to any activity, I can get it when I'm walking, driving or lying in bed not moving.
I have a new physio for my back problems (largely related to having endo on my uterosacral ligaments) and told him about this pain. He thinks it could be related to scar tissue. When I searched out my faint operation scars I realised that the pain I get is directly under one of the incisions. I haven't asked him yet if it's posible to work on this scar tissue, but looking on the Internet massage and ultrasound look like possible techniques.
I think deep tissue massage can be helpful ( sometimes known as remedial massage ). I have had several sessions of this over the years with an excellent practitioner but she changed location and I lost touch with her. However our local physio who is excellent has two massage therapists working with her. I've seen both of them and thought they were both helpful.
Hi there - thank you very much for your replies - I really appreciate it. I am sorry to hear that you are both having discomfort too. I am having an MRI on monday - so this may shed some more light. Thank you again - I will keep you updated.
Did you have the MRI, if so what was the outcome. I hope you requested a copy of the report ?
Yes unfortunally after my endo was removed rufly between my longs and anus i could not sit and my urinetube was grown into the scars to my belly
