Has anyone out there with Pudendal Nueralgia tried HRT? I have only just started investigating this as an option (I am 47 and pre menopausal) but it seems that upping certain hormones can help nerve aid muscle repair ...any thoughts
Thanks in advance

Hi, I’m 52 and have tried coming off my HRT as didn’t think I really needed it. This may be of no relevance/just coincidence but I’m currently unable to walk further than 10 feet without severe pain - unable to leave my bed other than to use the bathroom. Hence I started using my HRT gel again yesterday.
Hi JobieI started HRT about 8 months ago and only took it for that reason I am 52 and hadn't bled for 2 years and actually sailed through the menopause. Then after reading up about it and how it helps and even bone density as I am really slim and my older family members all have osteoporosis.
Anyway I am so glad I took it as I didn't realise how dry I was until I started taking HRT and now sexual intercourse is much more bearable. I don't know if it's improved my pudendal neuralgia but it helps in other ways.
Yes ..I believe her does help...I tried a patch but had breast pain so now I do vaginal estrogen once or twice a week...it is very helpful....I had severe pfd which could have also included the pudental nerve, from which I developed anxiety too so doc put me on Cymbalta which has been great for pain and anxiety....of course I have done a multitude of other things and its taken about 4 years to get me back to almost normal
