Prolapse

Hi I've had a double prolapse repair which I found extremely painful as I suffer with fibromyalgia. I now have a bladder prolapse. I have to have a cytology next week to check my kidneys. I asked if I could be sedated because of my fibromyalgia but was told no just gas and air. And that my prolapse would not make any difference whatsoever. Does anyone else have an opinion on this. I am quite concerned. Tia

Heck that sounds awful I too had posterier and anterior repair 2 years ago I went private as I managed it for 10 yrs but as soon as I came off hrt the lack if estrogen made it far worse I still have episodes where I think due to constipation I've put myself at risk of prolapsing due to pushing which I try best not to I have Been on the brink of phoning my consultant to make an appointment but after using my vit d and collegan and using my kegal 8 daily I've managed to tighten it up thank the lord ...kegal 8 are a godsend even after prolapse repairs as we can easily prolapse again ...Good luck x
