Uterine prolapse, after routine check up to change pessary

as I mentioned there had been some blood discharge the consultant refused to put replacement peassary in.

Managed to gt an appt for ultrasound in a weeks time as sposed to be flying to kenya Monday 9.

Now panicking as to what will happen, if I don’t have a pessary to hold everything up in place.

Do you think I can consider travelling as planned for 2 weeks without the peassary while waiting for results? Went private !!!!

You could buy a pessary yourself. I wouldn't have let them take it out and not give it back to you. They must think it's best maybe its rubbing inside or looks irritated. Didn't they tell you? Goodluck to you. Hope you have a good holiday too.

Thanks! Calmed down a bit now, felt like a naughty child and not allowed my pessary! She didn’t examine me, the red lights were on the moment I mentioned the blood discharge was more than spotting. Spose it’s a warning signal , bit scarey, the scan will show if it’s just a blip, abw, if somethings not right they will do an internal examination. Trying to not fear the worse, but at 75 done very well so far. Nice to share, thanks. More of a worry how much will push out after having a pessary holding things in place, so giving it til Monday to see how it feels and doing the excercises, gd excuse to stop the housework!! It’s just the frustration of getting appts , then appts for follow up of results, and that’s private! Never a dull moment eh!??

You might look into underwear that will support your prolapse until you get back. There are several websites. There is femicushion.com, bracability.com and Amazon. Hope this helps.

thanks, I’ve been looking. Time is the essence, need by weekend, Amazon is shipping from usa, EVB in uk seems can do, maybe better than nothing!
