Hi there and welcome to the club that nobody wanted to join, you are not alone! I live in the US so the medical system is different but I highly suggest looking at some of my previous posts that I share links to pelvic prolapse information.

Also, if you haven't already seen a Uro-gynocolgist or women's pelvic specialist for a pessary fitting, that should be something to do as soon as possible. Having a properly fitted pessary should provide great relief of the frequent urination issue and heavy bulge. Also, having a pessary is something that many of us use to avoid surgery or at least keep you comfortable while exploring your repair options.

If you find get a pessary and still have urination frequency or burning urination, see a doctor for a possible bladder infection. I had a bladder infection that didn't show up on the fast urine test but the symptoms matched every other time I had a bladder infection over the decades so my doctor gave me a 10 day round of antibiotics and it cleared (all the symptoms) right up.

Consider providing more details about your prolapse and questions you may have in order to get more replies.

Wishing you well from afar!

There are some different approaches out there, personally I didn't find gp and physio route helpful, in fact made things worse. I did a fair bit of research, looking at different options. Personally, I liked the Whole Woman approach best (avoiding surgery) and am working with one of their programmes (its mainly breathing and postural changes that are required, and toileting advice to stop it getting worse (much better toiletting advice than physio (in my opinion)). wholewoman.com . I am also seeing a herbalist, and have made some really healthy changes to my diet (fermented food, wholemeal sourdough - good for microbiome everywhere, including vagina and bladder). Find out as much as you can about the condition, including 'alternative' approaches such as Whole Women, and try things out and go with what feels right for you. Best wishes to you for comfort and healing.

I'm also in the UK. This site is very useful but so is the FaceBook group FPOPS UK which I'd advise you to join pronto. Lots of discussion there about UK resources and some expert help.
