Please do not wait any longer to see a doctor.
I thought I could solve things by myself but past a certain point that is not possible. Take all the advice and choose the best option for you.
I was referred through the National Health to a gynae specialist for a full prolapse. I tried a ring pessary, because I was trying to avoid surgery, but for me that wasn't comfortable and lead to discharge. I returned to the specialist and had corrective surgery in June 2022.
My prolapse was fully resolved and I was able to return to all my light activities and fully look after myself from August 2022. Between August and now I have been slowly regaining my strength. I have to keep an eye on my diet to ensure I don't get constipated and am currently awaiting check ups to ensure all is ok with my bowels.
Above all I am feeling so much better than before. The specialist said that I could not have solved this on my own. He also explained that he would not make me have an operation that I did not want. He told me the options and left the decisions entirely with me. Remeber they have seen it all before!
Good Luck. Don't delay. Do what is right for you.
I agree with BlueSkies12 below. Take the first steps and insist on seeing a doctor. You are not alone. Masses of people suffer in silence, and the pressure on the health service currently should not make you feel you're not important. You ARE. Go and get this checked out and come back here with whatever advice you're given if you need to compare notes with others.
